Ajay Devgn is making his directorial debut with Shivaay. Recently, during press interaction, Ajay spoke about his daughter that she is angry with him as he couldn't give much time to her in last one and a half year.

Ajay explained it, "Initially, she was really angry with me for over a year-and-a-half because I was busy shooting for Shivaay and could not spend much time with her. But when she saw the trailers and the songs she told me, ‘Now I know why you were busy and I am extremely proud of you.’ That was possibly one of the best compliments for me for sure."

"For me, it’s the father- daughter relationship that I connect with very well. So more than anything, it’s the idea that piqued me. The story came much later because we wove it around that," Ajay added.

'Shivaay' is slated to release this Diwali.
