It is quite shocking as why no one from Mahi's ancestral village watch his biopic. All know the movie is hugely doing well on box office and about to touch 100 crore club.
According to a report, there is no personal reason for not watching the movie based on Dhoni's life. As his ancestral village named Lawali, lies in the Almora district of Uttarakhand where his uncle Ganpat still lives. But neither uncle Ganpat nor any one can watch the film as the nearest cinema hall happens to be 115 km away! Even Almora, the district headquarters is just 75 kilometres away from Lawali but there are no cinema halls there.
As per a residential, "Two cinema halls used to operate in Almora, but they closed down about eight to nine years ago." And now they have to wait for the movie screened on television.
