Ladies used to keep fast and also prays for their husband’s long life. Almost all the women’s are engaged in doing preparation from days before to celebrate karwachauth. But, today we are going to tell you something awful which will make you think twice.

Yes, there is a village in which ladies don’t keep fasting on karwachauth. There are three villages in India where locals assumes that if they keep fasting on such a pure day will decrease their husband’s age. Just because of this reason ladies of this village used to pray that no upcoming woman will keep fast and nor celebrate for this day and these three places are known as Kathlahedi, Gonder and Aungad.

There is some weird assumption that some 600 years ago there was a girl from Rahada who got married with man from Gonder village, it has been said that she has seen a horrible night mare before the karwachauth that someone has killed her husband and due to this reason no one does fasting on karwachauth in these villages.
