Indian female is no less be it in any field whether cooking, acting, doing any job, and now in sports. Recalling how female made India glorious in 2016. Great Indian women as a sports person performed magnificently.

1. Cricket

Come on it's high time you keep consider men all the time in cricket. Switch to women. The team has contributed a lot. The Indian cricket team of women has managed their place in the top 10 teams in ICC rankings. The team won the ACC Women's Asia Cup T20 for the 6th consecutively. They defeated West Indies in the three-match ODI series.

2. Badminton

Women have their autonomous position in the game. The last year made us remember the names of women whenever we think of badminton now. Saina Nehwal grabbed Padma Bhushan and was declared the bronze medalist in 2016 Asian Championship. Noticeable P.V. Sindhu is the 1st Indian woman to shake hands on silver medal of Olympics Badminton Championship.

Squash women players are proving themselves to follow the recently getting popularity sport in the home. The women handed silver medal at the Asian Team Squash Championship. Joshna Chinappa is now at the forefront and quiet familiar. Dipika Pallikal won the PSA Final Australian Open.

4. Gymnastics

Winning a medal is not just everything out there but winning hearts without a victory is a less found especially in players. Dipa Karmakar is one of them from 2016 Rio Olympics. She is the first Indian female gymnast to participate and get 4th status in women's Vault gymnastics.

5. Kabaddi

The very own Desi sport. Women getting mainstream in 'akhara'. The Indian Women's Kabaddi team hauled Thailand in Asian Beach Games for the 5th time in a row and achieved Women's Kabaddi World Cup for the 3rd time successively.
