Oliver Anderson, an Australian teenager Tennis player has been suspended by the Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU) from playing professional tennis. The grounds for the same stands at match-fixing by Anderson.
The suspension of 18-year-old applies with effect and remaining in place until the TIU investigation is complete. Hence, during the investigation time, Anderson is not allowed to compete in or attend any match, series or tournament organized by the sports government body.
The suspension was put on by independent anti-corruption hearing officer Richard McLaren. It is set forth that the Victoria Police announced on January 5 about the same at a second-tier event in Traralgon in October.
Police while releasing the statement said the culprit would appear on March 2.
