A study conducted by the group of researchers from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU)  reveals very unbelievable news about the cameras. 

As per the reports data cane be retrieved out of the personal computers while plugging in cameras to it. Air gapped computers lets to read the hard drive of the system, which leads to data transfer.

Head of the researchers' team Mordechai Guri said, "Our method compared to other LED exfiltration is unique because it is also covert. The hard drive LED flickers frequently, and therefore the user won’t be suspicious about changes in its activity.”
