Veteran Central Bureau of Investigation Chief Joginder Singh expired

The Former CBI Chief Joginder Singh (77) passed away on Friday, 3 February. Singh was sick from many days. He had tackled many big cases including Bofors scam and Bihar's Fodder scam.

Lower House member Manish Tiwari was the first to inform about Joginder's death. Manish updated the news on his official twitter page saying, "Former Director of the CBI - Sardar Joginder Singh is no more. May God Rest his soul in peace. Cremation 4-2-17,1 PM Lodhi Crematorium N.Delhi."

Joginder joined the Police force at the age of 20, promoted to the higher responsibility as a CBI officer. He had overseen many cases including Bofors, Fodder scam, security scam, JMM bribery6 scandal and Urea scam.
