Proteins and starches should never be combined as they tend to neutralize each other and this leads to improper digestion of either food.

Milk and Cereal

This combination may come as a shocker to you as this is the staple breakfast for most people all over the world. Both these contain fast digesting carbs which puts your body under stress, causes blood sugar spikes which will leave you tired and hungry.

Fats with the wrong foods

Fats require bile salts from the liver and gall bladder to break down; mixing them with other digestive chemicals can cause distress. For example – Meats cooked in vegetable oil, tuna with mayonnaise and bread with olives.

Liquids with your meals

Any liquid in your stomach dilutes the enzymes your body needs to digest proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Water takes about 10 minutes, while juices take 15-30.
