A day after the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party MLAs were evicted from the Tamil Nadu Assembly, the DMK today has announced a hunger strike on 22 February at all its district offices in the state.
The decision is taken in a meeting done at the party headquarters convened by the DMK working president M K Stalin.
Yesterday, Speaker P Dhanapal expelled the DMK legislatures from the Assembly for misbehaving. Edappadi Palaniswami who sworn an oath as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister won trust votes in assembly yesterday.
