When the weather gets chilly, you wear your pullovers, sweaters, mufflers, gloves and everything that keeps you warm. You need to feel warm from within too; there’s nothing more comforting than a nice warm drink. So for this coming winter, here are a few drinks that will surely keep you nice and warm.
Cardamom/ Elaichi Tea – Cardamom is a spice mostly used in foods. However, several eastern cultures also use cardamom in teas. It has anti-oxidants and is also an anti-aging spice.
Cinnamon Hot Chocolate – All you need is some soy milk, cocoa powder, ground cinnamon and some whipped cream (optional).
Ginger Hot Toddy – This is a perfect warm drink for the chilly winter nights. Some freshly sliced ginger, a slice of lemon, hot water and bourbon.
Buttered Coffee – Enjoy your everyday regular hot cup of coffee with a healthy twist. You need some brewed coffee, vanilla powder, unsalted butter and some coconut oil. Blend these well. This gives the coffee a nice smooth and creamy texture.
Caramel Hot Chocolate – This is an all-time favorite. All you need is a cup or two of soymilk, caramel topping and whipped cream (optional). You can even add some chopped pecan nuts.
