The destruction caused by earthquake in Indonesia has left 45,000 people homeless. At least 10,000 people were displaced from the calamity hit area and 100 people were killed.
Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, national disaster agency spokesman, told "We have 45,300 people evacuating in several places as of Saturday morning," adding "that the number of displaced had almost doubled since Friday due to an influx of new data."
A magnitude of about 6.5 had thumped Aceh province of Indonesia in the beginning of this week destroying so many houses, buildings, shops, religious places across the entire city.
