Social networking giant Facebook is planning to invest more in the video and GIFs' category, as these two are the reason of the growing popularity of the Facebook News Feed.
Also, the company is planning to invest on the advertisement, which is displayed before or in the mid of the video. For this purpose, Facebook planned to launch a huge campaign to encourage investments in the advertisement company.
Gwen Throckmorton, Head of Industry Entertainment Facebook said, "We are targeting media agencies as well as marketers who want to tap into the power of mobile video.”
Throckmorton added, “It’s talking about how mobile video unlocks a huge power for marketers and consumers overall to tell their stories."
