Governor of Meghalaya, V Shanmuganathan resigned

V Shanmuganathan, Governor of Meghalaya has resigned from the post after 100 members wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which they mentioned that he had "compromised the dignity" of the Governor's House.

The letter is signed by the 98 workers of the Governor's house in Shillong and it is even displayed on social media. 

"His activities hurt the decorum and prestige of the Raj Bhavan as well as the sentiments of the Raj Bhavan employees who are very much attached to the Raj Bhavan, it becomes our concern. From the time he has taken over, the employees are going through severe humiliation, mental stress and torture" this is what it was written in the letter.

The spokesperson of BJP,  Nalin Kohli as per the reports said today "Till now there are no statements from any women. Facts should be looked into before commenting,"

In 2015,V Shanmuganathan was appointed Governor of Meghalaya.
