The Gujarat Assembly Budget Session will begin today and with the inaugural address of Governor O P Kohli. Finance Minister Nitin Patel on February 21 will present the state budget. The Bharatiya Janata Party has asked the opposition party to cooperate in the session.

The budget session will end on March 31 after meeting for 26 days. Speaker Ramanlal Vora in a statement, as per the sources news said "Discussions and voting will be held for 9 government Bills and 12 private member Bills during the session"

This budget is going to be the first budget of the Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.
