2016 was the year of debut, when in the last minute Indian Cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle was sacked by Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI), just before the IPL (Indian Premier League) match saying that 'his service is no more needed'.

Before the initiation of the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League, Bhogle finally talked about his unanswered elimination from commentary. While talking about the elimination Bhogle said, " No one told me what the matter was."

Later, Bhogle added," If someone had said 'you're not good enough', that would have been fine. Some big players have been told that. Suppose I was told I violated a broadcasting ethic, even that would have been fine. But, nobody could look me in the face and tell me."
