Honda has planned a new strategy, due to increasing freight charges. The company said that they are forced to increase the rates of their cars. However, the price of Honda WRV will remain unchanged.
As per the reports, all the products of Honda will have the Rs 1000 hike in their rates. Senior Vice President, Marketing, and Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd Jnaneswar Sen, explained the reason behind the change in price saying, "Due to the increase in freight charges and input costs, we are forced to consider increasing the car prices for most of our models. The increased price will be effective from first week of April 2017."
However, reports say that other than Honda, several more vehicle companies will change the price of their products. Tata Motors also increased the price of its products by Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000.
