Holidays are fun and during these days one tends to gain a lot of weight than otherwise. This probably happens to everyone during their holidays. You could be at home all day, sitting, watching television, eating; going out for parties, attending functions, eating at restaurants, etc. unless you’re an active or a physically fit person.
Here are some ways that you can avoid gaining that holiday weight.
Never go hungry to a function/party:This is the worst thing to do. The hungrier you are, the less capable you are of staying in control. Stick to either appetizers or mains. Having both will add up to the calories.
Celebrate your holiday with an activity:Instead of taking your car or bike to look for something, take a walk. You’ll find more options too.
Avoid junk food:When on holiday, most people love binging on fast food. This has a lot of calories and will add up to your weight.
Start with soup or salad:If you start with a soup or salad, you tend to eat less, later, as you are not that hungry and don’t tend to overeat.
Pack leftovers for your guest:Pack the festive food for your guest. They will surely love it. And you can avoid all the fattening festive food.
Drink from tall glasses:With short glasses you end up with larger amounts of drinks rather than the tall ones, though you feel there is more in the taller glass than the short. Looks can be deceiving.
