Chinese smartphones are giving tough competition to Indian smartphones. Xiaomi, Vivo, Lenovo and Oppo are the top listed four Chinese flags in the list of International Data Corporation(IDC).
As per the International Data Corporation reports, at first position Samsung is leading the market with 25.1% market share. At second, Xiaomi with 10.7%. Lenovo is in third with 9.9%. Oppo and Vivo are at number four and five.
Market Analyst in IDC India Jaipal Singh said, "This is the first time when none of the homegrown vendors were able to make their position in top five, the decision is sticking with a 3G heavy portfolio and prioritizing the price game over product experience is working against the dominance of homegrown vendors."
