Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has blacklists around 8 startups for the campus placement program this year. If talk about the whole nation they all IITs have blocked around 31 startups in total. Being asked for the reason, they have said that all those startup companies have refused for the job offers in the previous year.
"They had withdrawn or cancelled the offers last year so this year they will not be visiting the campus," said the institute's placement chairman Debasis Deb.
IIT Kharagpur has allowed only 10-12 startup companies to take part in the campus placement program this year.
