In today's time, making a good CV (curriculum vitae) is an important skill for job seekers. However, many people try to finish it quickly by copying-pasting. But, this not only affects your personal image, but also reduces the chances of getting a job. Every person's life experience and skills are different, and it is most important to present them correctly in the CV. Here we are telling you easy tips to make a CV so that you can also give a new direction to your career.

Include personal information in your CV

Always start your CV with your personal information. It should include your name, address, phone number, and email ID. Make sure that all these details are written correctly and clearly. First, write your name in capital letters and give a brief introduction below it. Then write your contact details like email ID, phone number, and if there is a website, write it too. All these details should be organized in a good manner so that it looks professional.

Work Experience

After personal details, the most important part of a CV is work experience. Here you should give details of the name, position and tenure of your previous workplaces. For example, first the name of the company, then the position you held there and for how long you worked there, it is important to give this information. This will give the recruiter a clear understanding of your professional life and your work stability and experience can be assessed.

education

Include your educational qualifications in the education section. You can write details of intermediate to graduate and post graduate, diploma, PhD, or any special course. Also mention the year of passing out and the name of the institute. Show your marks or percentage only if you have good marks. Keep this section brief and clean so that the recruiter can quickly understand your educational background.

Skills

The skills section is the most important part of your CV as it is directly related to the job you are applying for. So, highlight the skills required for the job you are applying for. If you have technical skills, linguistic skills, or other special abilities, list them clearly in this section. This information gives the recruiter an indication of your job readiness.

Objective

In the objective of the CV, you have to briefly explain how you will prove useful to the company. In this section, your career objective should be clear as to how you want to contribute to the company and how it will benefit the company. It should be written in short and effective sentences so that your professional thinking can be judged.

Proofreading and avoiding copy-paste

After creating your CV, read it carefully once so that there are no typing or grammatical mistakes. You can also ask a friend or family member to read it. Most importantly, avoid the habit of copy-paste. You should customize your CV for each job so that it looks compatible and unique for that particular job.
