BHOPAL: Tuesday, probe took place by income tax department at BJP leader's resident at Biragarh in Bhopal. Leader, Sushil Vadhwani, was claimed that, late November after demonetization, he forcefully tried collate all his black money in bank. At the time of raid leader denied the claims, he says all the talks about 'black money and weapons' are spurious.
Vaswani was Chairman of Mahanagar cooperative bank for more than decades, while his wife kiran is the current Chairperson. The leader has three hotels under him. He enjoyed position of Minister of state and before this he was the chairman of housing cooperative federation.
Previously, two other BJP leaders were raided by IT, found with black money- Manish sharma from West Bengal and JVR Arun from Tamil nadu. Party claims that both of them are removed from their position.
