India women cricket team made all its efforts in the last tie played against Bangladeshi women. Indian women defeated Bangladesh by nine wickets in a Super Six match and are now qualified for the ICC Women's World Cup 2017 on February 17.

Indian team won the toss and opted to bowl first in the Super Six game of the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier. Bangladesh got restricted to a paltry 155 for eight in 50 overs. India reached 158 for one in 33.3 overs and chased down the target.

India now has booked a seat in the final event which will be played in England in the month of June.

Bangladesh is now left with a single option of beating Sri Lanka women in its last game to keep its World Cup aspirations alive. Along with India Women, South Africa women has also secured its place in the ICC Women's World Cup 2017.

India in the next match will counterpart Pakistan women in their final Super Six game on February 19 at the P Sara Oval.
