In Punjab's Rupnagar area, an Army jawan killed the fiance of his former girlfriend and also injuring her at a bus stand, as per stated by police.

The incident is said to have happened on Sunday when the girl and her fiance were going for Nalagarh from their hometown of Una in Himachal Pradesh.

The police as per the sources news said " Kamal Dev, 27, also from Una, and posted in Jodhpur, was allegedly following and harassing the couple in a bus on their way to Nalagarh'

"Dev - who also got down at the bus stand in Rupnagar, attacked Mr. Kumar with a sharp-edged weapon. Ms. Sharma suffered serious injuries trying to save her fiance" as per the sources news said Deputy Superintendent Randhir Singh.

The police have filed a case against the accused.
