Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal chief minister yesterday through her tweet slammed the Government for planning to present the Union Budget on 1st February. On this day, across many parts of Indai and especially in West Bengal Saraswati Puja is celebrated.

She tweeted, "Feb 1 is Saraswati Pujo. This special day for the goddess of learning is a big day celebrated in schools, colleges, homes, clubs ".

Why don't we celebrate Saraswati Pujo in a big way instead of presenting Union Budget on Feb 1. Do Saraswati bandana & not YOUR bandana, she wrote in another tweet.

In the last tweet she wrote "We worship Ma Saraswati and celebrate in a special way in every school, college, university, home. Everywhere.Feb 1 is a State Govt holiday".
