New Delhi: The unexpected decision of demonetization left the people in panic state as well fighting with a huge cash crunch in the wedding session. But, on Thursday, government allowed the one time withdrawal of Rs. 2.5 lakh to the families who are planning marriage, in the month full of anxiousness.

At an event on Thursday, Yoga teacher Ramdev Baba chuckled about the PM Modi’s act to curb black money, "Many in the BJP are bachelors...they didn't realise it was wedding season...that was the mistake".

"If they (government) had done this around 15 days or one month later then there weddings wouldn't have been so badly affected. One good thing that has come out of all this...people cannot demand dowry," said Ramdev Baba.
