Motiv Space System have signed more than 11millions contracts with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory to build an efficient robot for the next Mars mission, Mars 2020.

Mars 2020 mission is planned with the main motto to search for the signs of life on Mars. As human space shuttle is hard to reach Mars, NASA will send its new and efficient arm to process the research.

Chris McQuin of Motiv Space Systems informed about the new project saying that "NASA has made planet Mars a priority since the mid-90s and they have had a lot of initial successes. The next one is Mars 2020. That is a roving machine on the surface of Mars that is going to explore, take samples and prepare them for a return to Earth.”

Scientists are working for the safe launch and landing to the Mars, as meteoroids are the main obstacles in the path. McQuin shared about the aim to build Mars 2020 bot, "Our part is to build an efficient robotic arm that needs to clutch Martian rock in a better way. Success for us will be Mars 2020 sitting on the surface, taking samples, doing science and teaching us more about the planet.”
