As the society is being more digitalised, cyber crime is going at the higher level. Each and every tech industry is striving to keep their company safe from being hacked. Smith also said that Donald Trump can easily start the initiative against cyber crimes.

As per the latest reports, Microsoft's President Brad Smith discussed with world's government about to take major steps against increasing cyber crimes. Smith discussed the Geneva Convention saying that "Countries need to develop and abide by global rules for cyber attacks similar to those established for armed conflict at the 1949 Geneva Convention that followed World War Two."

As per the Smith's blog post, " We need a Digital Geneva Convention that will commit governments to implement the norms needed to protect civilians on the internet in times of peace.”
