Maruti Suzuki's 5 all-new crossovers passed the safety test

The largest car maker of India Maruti Suzuki has tested it's 5 new cars- Ignis, S-Cross, Ciaz, Baleno and Ertiga, for the cause of security reasons. All the cars passed the security test.

As per the reports, the company said that they performed nearly 40-50 tests for every vehicle during its manufacture.

After passing these safety tests, the company will be allowed to launch its car in the Indian market. 

On Wednesday, the company stated, "The state-of-the-art crash lab facilities and proving ground at Rohtak, together with the capability of its engineers, have enabled Maruti to meet advanced safety regulations in these five models, ahead of schedule.”

The company added, "MSIL R&D’s first success was the facelift of the iconic vehicle, Zen, in 2003, followed by co-design of Swift with the Suzuki global R&D team in 2005. Competence of the team grew steadily as more models and technologies were introduced, leading up to the compact SUV, Vitara Brezza in 2016.”
