New Delhi: As, Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided to demonetize the Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes to curb black money on Tuesday, after that a move came from BJP president Amit Shah, as today in a press conference, he called the step as “masterstroke of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.

"It is the political parties that are afraid of the Modi masterstroke. The common people are not facing any problems," said BJP president.

"The step which has been taken will greatly benefit the economy," he said.

"The middle class, the poor and small traders will face no problems. There is no need to rush as the currency notes will be accepted till December end”, he added.

“Demonetisation has dealt a severe blow to Naxalites, terror groups, hawala operators and anti-national elements… Common people and honest taxpayers have no reason to worry,” Mr. Shah further said.
