Amethi: Three youths gangraped a minor girl and she died while going through the treatment. Yesterday,evening the incident took place in Nagaridh village. Police officer said “After the ill-fated incident, the girl narrated her ordeal to family members upon which her aunt accompanied her to Piparpur police station to lodge a report,”
AS she was not recovering, she was referred to Sultanpur Hospital where she died. Her statement has been recorded by the officials. Police have filed a FIR against all the three youths and one of accussed has been arrested.
Police officer said "When the matter came to the notice of IG Zone police, officials of Amethi rushed to the spot but faced the ire of villagers who alleged that local police was negligent in the case".
