MS Dhoni will lead the Jharkhand cricket team for the first time in the Vijay Hazare trophy starting from February 25 in Kolkata. 

Dhoni along with his team members left from Kolkata on Tuesday night in Howrah Bound Train. This was for the first time in last 15 years when Dhoni traveled in a train from Ranchi.

Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) president Kuldeep Singh said that "Dhoni has always inspired players of his home state. We are happy with Dhoni's wish to play for the Jharkhand team. His active support will take the team Jharkhand to another level".
