Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir are suffering from continuous terrorist attack and on the other side elections are close. It would be tough to conduct peaceful elections in the state due to continuous ruckus by extremists.
National Conference Core Group will conduct a meeting in Srinagar to discuss the political situation in the Jammu and Kashmir and along with that NC will also discuss the political strategy for upcoming polls.
NC President and former chief minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah and working president Omar Abdullah will also attend the meeting. Despite these two the other members included are, Ali Mohammad Sagar, Abdul Rahim Rather, Mohammad Shafi Uri, Mian Altaf, Choudhary Ramzan, Mohammad Akbar Lone, Devender Singh Rana, Sakina Itoo, Surjit Singh Slathia, Rashpal Singh, Javed Rana and Sajjad Kitchloo.
