WELLINGTON: Add that one to the record books for New Zealand after captain Kane Williamson's 15th Test century led home their chase for 217 in a canter, for a seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the first Test.
After Ross Taylor departed for 60, the skipper raced on to 104 not out off 90 balls, his third Test ton in Wellington. Both teams combined for 1511 runs, the most in a Wellington Test.
Williamson achieved the nth century in this play by scoring 104 runs in the match, while Taylor out for 60. William's contribution towards New Zealand team beaten Bangladesh by 7 wickets.
Bangladesh is seem to be trouble as after the poor performance by the team, only Shakib Al Hasan remarked for the highest score of 217 runs in the first innings.
