New Delhi: A new surprise hit the opposition as it was stated that possibly Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will be joining a sub-committee created by the Centre to measure the effects of note ban.
As per the reports, a discussion was held between the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely with Naveen Pattnaik, during which the Finance Minister asked him to be an element of the committee.
“Naveen Patnaik, who had earlier backed the demonetisation move by the centre was willing to be on board after the centre’s effort to persuade him”, by calling the move positive, stated Biju Janata Dal (BJD).
