Chennai: Senior Congress leader dug the history of Indira Gandhi’s leadership saying that, Indira had asserted her mistake of emergency call, similarly Modi should accept his mistake about imposing a black clouds (demonetization) on poor.

Mocking upon BJP government Chidambaram said, “Demonetization is a measure which made 45crore people like beggars and hassled middle class people for 45 days.”

P Chidambaram says that nobody can deny that this run of cash crunch will be in existence for further six months. He also said that, I wonder how Modi can order cashless transactions whereas, developed Countries like America and Germany use cash as a major tender.

Chidambaram kept the only point in his talks was, Modi should accept his mistake and should apologize it to the poor people of India.
