Today, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia for the family of those who lost their life in patna boat incident while Rs 50,000 will be given to those who has suffered serious injuries.

PM has announced ex-gratia from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF). Yesterday, in Bihar's Patna river Ganga, near NIT ghat a boat which were carrying 40 passengers overturned killing around 21 of them.

All 40 of the passengers were coming back from diara area after attending the Kite festival on the occassion of Makar Sankranti.
