New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray for the. Rumours are alleging it as a 'dinner diplomacy', as the concern behind the meeting is considered to be the President election.

Present President Pranav Mukherjee will end his tenure in the month of July, and as per the rumours, it is alleged that PM Modi wants to make one decision for the President nomination. The next election will have the nominees BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, Lok Sabha President Sumitra Mahajan, Foreign affairs minister Sushma Swaraj and Jharkhand's politician Draupadi Murmu.

All the Members of Rajya Sabha and Vidhan Sabha are included in the voter's list for President election. However, Lok Sabha majority has been garnered by the Bharatiya Janata Party,  and Party don't want to give a chance of complaint to colleague parties, thus, he invited Uddhav for the dinner.
