New Delhi: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the election campaign of the Akali-BJP Coalition in  Punjab today. Here, the PM Modi will address a rally in Jalandhar.

On January 29, he will address another rally in Ludhiana. For the BJP Candidates, Arun Jaitley, Ramlal, Narendra Tomar and Avinash Rai will also campaign. The manifesto of BJP in Punjab  focuses on implantation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST). It also includes free education till PhD for girls and job for families.

The Punjab Assembly elections will began from February 4 and on 11 March the counting of votes will take place.
