Ribu Srivastava, the Samajwadi Party candidate today withdrew her nomination from the from the Varanasi Cantonment Assembly.
With the alliance of Samajwadi-congress, Anil Srivastava from congress was named from the seat in the list released. As per the sources news, on the instructions of the SP's senior leadership, she withdrew her nomination.
On Thursday, she filed her nomination papers.
