Syrian troops have taken full control of ruined of Aleppo and now residents are returning back to their home. "I came to check on my house, which I haven't seen in five years," one of the residents Khaled al-Masri said. "I really hope my home wasn't badly damaged." 

Although some part of the eastern Aleppo is still under control of rebels, president of Russian Putin has congratulated Syrian president Bashar-al-hasad on liberation of Aleppo city.

"This success was possible thanks to mutual efforts of all who came together in the fight with international terrorism in Syria," Kremalin said.

"We sent in a battalion of military police yesterday evening to maintain order in the liberated territories," Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said.
