The Supreme Court while hearing the case of a man who is accused of stealing of five sarees raised a question. The man is in jail from for a year in the case of stealing sarees. The Supreme Court as per the sources news said what about the person who has defaulted on crores of rupees? 

Justice JS Khehar, the Chief Justice of India didn’t take the name of anyone and said "A person who has taken away crores of rupees is enjoying life.  But here a person who took five sarees is in jail."

The petition is filed by the wife of  Ch Eliah, arrested in Hyderabad over a year ago and in prison without trial and SC was hearing it.

The lawyer of the man argued that there is no witness which can prove the man offence. The Government of Telangana said that gang of saree thieves were active in Hyderabad and about which many traders complaint too. That’s why it became mandatory to arrest the man. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court will take up the case.
