The Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal issue will be heared by Supreme Court today.
The Punjab Government in 2004 passed the law to terminate the Canal water sharing agreement with neighbouring states. Last year in November, the court termed the law as Unconstitutional.
It said that Punjab alone cannot take decision to terminate the agreement to share the Ravi-Beas river water with states Harayana, Himachal Pradesh,Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi and Chandigarh.
