DELHI: Congress is trying to condemn Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, saying that  Rijiju should resign from his position because he had supported 450crore scam in huge Hydro-electric power project in his home state, Arunachal Pradesh.

Mr. Rijiju denied the blame induced upon him, he said “those who are planting this news, if they come where we are then they will get hit with shoes. Is it corruption to try and help your people?”

Kiren informed a relative of Kiren named, Goboi Rijiju was the sub coordinator invited for the project. Kiren said that the audio released by congress is of Goboi Rijiju talking to his senior about to build two dams.

“I just asked the power minister to look into the matter ,” his intentions were to help people who were complaining that their payments are due. “Most of the payments were made before us, I did to clear the remaining amount,” Kiren wrote letter to Power Minister.

Rijiju was alleged that Eknath Khadse was linked with the Dawood Ibrahim.
