In the opening trade today, the benchmark indices opened lower. The S&P BSE Sensex was trading at 27,213, down 25 points, while the broader Nifty50 was ruling at 8,386, down 14 points. 

The BSE Midcap and BSE Smallcap indices registered an uptick of 0.07%, and 0.2%.

According to the sources news, Angel Broking in a technical note said "Going ahead, considering recent sharp rally, we may see Nifty consolidating around 8,460 and then at 8,598, which can termed as immediate hurdles. In case of a dip, 8,320-8,250 would be seen as strong support levels for the index.
