Shahid and Mira blessed with the little girl Misha. Shahid many time seen enjoying the phase of father. When asked him about help asking by Mira, he said, “I don’t think any child can do without the mother. The mother, without any doubt, is the most important person in a child’s life.”
Shahid considers himself supporting Mira, “In cricketing nomenclature, while the first to eleventh positions are taken by the mother, I can become the 12th man. Toh mein hamesha ready rehta hoon (so I’m always ready). Even if I’m not needed, I’m available,” the actor says.
Shahid on the name of her daughter Misha said, “Honestly, we got desperate for the name. We didn’t know if it was a boy or a girl, and we never even tried to find out. That’s not allowed in India anyway. We just needed to come up with a good name, because, somehow, when you want to come up with a name, you don’t like any. And then you get really scared, because the date keeps getting closer.” The name was suggested by Shahid, “And I asked Mira, ‘Is it nice? What do you think?’ She liked it instantly, and said it was very nice. All of this was happening five days before Misha was born.”
The Kamine actor said, “Sometimes, she comes back and tells me, ‘I went to some place today and people started recognising me. I am not used to it. It’s very odd’. Things like that do happen. But I guess that comes with the territory.”
He added, “So, she isn’t just Shahid Kapoor’s wife. Sometimes, I feel I will soon be called Mira Rajput’s husband.” Moreover, the actor filled with happiness when he came to know that, he became the father of a beautiful girl child.
