Cricket commentator and unstoppable laughter package Navjot Singh Sidhu is asked to quit his job of TV appearance on the comic show 'Comedy Nights with Kapil'. This condition was kept by Punjab's new chief Captain Amarinder Singh.
Sidhu is vociferously defending the decision saying that he runs his family through the TV appearance. Sidhu said, "I do TV appearances to earn money to support my family and run my home."
As per the reports, the condition was kept by Amarinder Singh saying that "ministers can't engage in private work". Later on. Sidhu added, "I cannot be a transporter like the former deputy CM of Punjab Sukhbir Badal. I cannot be corrupt to mint money...I do TV shows to earn money to run my home and meet my family's expenditure."
Navjot said his voters are satisfied with his works and don't have any panic from my TV job. He stated, "My voters have no problem with my TV shows...what I do from 7 pm to 6 am should not be somebody's business. I have already left 75 per cent of my work related to TV shows, stopped IPL, what else do they want? Should I stop earning?"
