S. Sreesanth, tainted Indian cricketer, has put down to former Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai who is the head of the Supreme Court -appointed Committee of Administrators (COA) of the Indian Cricket Board, about strolling back to the Indian cricket team after four years of ban when he should have been playing at the highest level.

"He is deeply upset at the way the outgoing leadership of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) treated him, especially denying him an NOC to play in the ongoing Scotland Cricket league" sources close to him informed.

In 2013, Sreesanth along with two players was arrested for spot-fixing in Indian Premier League. After three years in 2015, a Delhi Court declared the players innocent in the case registered by the Delhi Police.

BCCI Disciplinary Committee headed by Arun Jaitley, the present Union Finance Minister, slapped a life ban on Sreesanth. In this case, the player becomes ineligible for practicing the game on any grounds.

Sreesanth hopes that he will be able to convince Rai, an IAS officer who served in Kerala, on the injustice meted out to him. If this does not go as per his wishes, he would have no other alternative but to seek judicial intervention for absolving the ban on him.
