Everything you do is probably killing you in some way or another. We should be more aware that many household items, from personal care, food items, couch, are bad for us and our health. Some of these healthy products could cause harm to us and our body. Think twice before keeping or using any of these.

Sitting – Whether at home, work, school or college you are sitting all day. You may hit the gym often but sitting does reduce muscle contractions and slows down your metabolism. Move around and about whenever possible.

Using the washing machine – This one may come as a shocker to you, but your washing machine is filled with E. Coli bacteria.

Checking your phone as soon as you wake up – Avoid using the phone as soon as you wake up could make you more clear headed, focused and happy.

Use of cotton buds – Many people feel that cleaning the ears should be a routine thing. This is not so. Your ears should have a healthy amount of earwax, as they're a self-cleaning part of your body.

Brushing soon after a meal – It is important to brush your teeth but brushing soon after eating can cause severe damage to your tooth enamel.

Use of soap – Use of soap dispensers or antibacterial soaps cause cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and other symptoms just as often as people who use regular soaps.

Nail Tools – These include cuticle clippers, pumice stone and other nail tools harbor bacteria from your skin. Wash these tools before and after use or the could cause infections.
