Assembly Election 2017: The counting for the assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Manipur, and Uttrakhand begins from 8 this morning. As per the exit poll, Punjab is the predicted to have given AAP a clear majority in the state while Uttar Pradesh to be heading towards a hung assembly with BJP in lead.

In Uttar Pradesh, as per trends on 403 out of 403 seats the Bharatiya Janata Party has a majority with 292 seats, Samajwadi- Congress party has 81 seats, Bahujan Samajwadi party has 21 seats while other has 09 seats.

In Punjab on 117 out of 117 seats, as per the trends the Bharatiya Janata Party - Akali Dal has 28 seats, Samajwadi- Congress party has 65 seats, Aam Aadmi party has 23 seats while other has 01 seats.

In Uttarakhand Bharatiya Janata Party has 51 seats, in Goa Congress has 08 seats while in Manipur BJP has 12 seats.
