Umaria: Today, a tribal woman was wounded, after a tiger attacked her, while she was sleeping at a village in the buffer zone of the world famous Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.

It was alleged by the Victim’s  son, Ramlal Baiga, a tiger attacked her mother, while she was sleeping in the house near the paddy crop in Ramouli village of Umaria district , after that she was pulled by the tiger and attacked on her face. When the women lifted alarm, the tiger turned self towards forest.

Forest ranger Ramesh Markam said that, the expenses of the woman’s treatment will be paid by the forest department.
